Casting: Mena starring Tom Cruise

Mena is a period film set in the United States and South America in the 1970's and 1980's, and so casting men and women with non-contemporary looks. Mena currently has a 2017 release date.

The film is based on the true story of Barry Seal, an American pilot who ran guns and drugs for the CIA and the Medellin cartel during the 1980's. Eventually, Seal was shot to death in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The title of the film comes from the town of Mena, Arkansas; where massive drug trafficking happened right under the noses of various presidents and governors.
